Anchors
Calculate anchors for facade or insulation
How the calculation works
Enter the facade area (or width and height), choose the anchor length, pattern and density. The calculator multiplies the area by anchors per m² and rounds up to boxes of 100.
Formula and assumptions
Anchors = area × anchors per m², rounded up. Boxes = anchors ÷ 100, rounded up. Density options in the app: standard 4, reinforced 6, corners 8, windy zone 10 pcs/m². These are indicative – the exact number and length are set by the system manufacturer and the design.
Worked example
Facade 100 m², density 6 pcs/m²: 100 × 6 = 600 anchors → 6 boxes of 100.
What affects real consumption
- Building height and wind exposure.
- Type of substrate and load-bearing capacity of the wall.
- Insulation thickness and anchor length including embedment depth.
Frequently asked questions
How many anchors per m² of facade?
Most often 4–8 pcs/m², with higher density at edges, at height and in windy zones; the system manufacturer specifies the exact number.
Does the calculator work out anchor length?
You choose the length yourself; it depends on insulation thickness, adhesive and the required embedment in the substrate.
